James W. Wharton USAF, Ret.

Suddenly, on December 11, 2009 of Berlin, NJ. Age 69 years. Beloved husband of Sandra (nee Ciavarra). Devoted father of James Wharton III, Cecilia Heckrote, John Wharton and his wife Donna, Jennifer Dina and her husband Gene, all of Berlin, and Julianne Ollivier of Marlton. Dear brother of Mary Kosten and Geraldine Nurnberger. Proud grandfather of Erica, Regina, Tyler, James, Brian, Jonah, Julie, Gianna, Robert, and Gavin. Jim was a US Air Force Veteran serving during the Vietnam war; retiring from the Pentagon as Chief Master Sgt. after 21 years of active service. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday morning 9:30-10:45AM at St. Simon Stock Church, Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Campus 178 W. White Horse Pike Berlin. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00AM. Cremation & interment will be private. In lieu of flowers contributions to Soldiers Angels (Air Force Team) c/o the funeral home in Jim's memory are appreciated.
