We love our family and wish they could stay with us always. Right now, God has such loving concern for bereaved ones.(Psalm 146:5,9.)
Even when Jesus was on earth, he had pity for those who lost loved ones. (Luke 11-17). When his friend Lazarus died, Jesus even "gave way to tears".-John 11:33-35.
In His written Word, the Bible, God stated, for our comfort, that "He will actually swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will certainly wipe the tears from all faces." He will do this by means of a great resurrection on a paradise earth.-Isaiah 25:8,9;Psalm 37:29.
