Lin was a beautiful ray of sunshine in this sometimes dreary world. She always had a bright smile, and kind, encouraging words to share. She was a wonderful musician and very, very dear friend. Lin, I love you and I will miss you so much. Thank you for being so beautiful. Your gifts of music, teaching, caring, and friendship will always be cherished.
Joe, please know that Carl and I will always be here for you and we celebrate the blessing of having you in our life. May God grant you peace during this difficult time.

"Beauty" in smile; in talent (gorgeous soprano voice!); in spirit; and in warmth and friendship. Lin will certainly be missed, especially by our "Luau" and "Desert Party" Gang. Lin is an original member of our "circle of friends" with 26 years of parties. I will miss singing duets with her. Last year at our 25th annual Desert Night party, she gave me a silver bell. Lin, I will ring that bell for your angel wings! The 'gang' went to your house to sing Christmas music with you and your family this past Saturday. I will always remember that smile you gave us when you knew we were at your bedside. Rest in peace, Lin. Joe, our hearts and prayers reach out to you and the family.

I only knew Lin a short time as she was my two granddaughters singing teacher for less than a year. She was really ringing out the best in them. Also, she gave of here time to come to my Mom's assisted living to entertain with here pupils, which meant a great deal to Mom. She will be missed by many as will her music. Our thoughts and prayers are with Joe and the family. She was a dear sweet lady.

Last night I heard the most beautiful but bittersweet story from one of the "Dessert Party" participants. Tears came to my eyes as I heard of Lyn's battle with cancer and her smile with friends of 26 years singing together! Music - Lyn's gift to so many and shared by so many. I thank God for the moments of time I too could share that with Lyn and thank God for the beauty of the marriage of Joe and Lyn. The sadness of Lyn's passing is only counterbalanced with the beauty of her entry into the heavenly gates! Oh, how I imagine the angelic choirs singing to welcome Lyn into their company! Joe - my prayers are with you!

Joe and Family ---
Randy, Matt, Adam and I (Marci) cannot begin to express how truly saddened we were to hear about Linda's passing. Our heartfelt prayers go out to you. Linda was a rare person who knew only kindness and warmth. We will never forget that it was Linda - who first worked on the Township youth show when Adam was in 2nd grade - who said, "Come see me when he's older--I will be his vocal teacher." And she was... and helped him to develop his talents so that he now continues with his passion and following his dreams -- in School for the Performing Arts. Linda's professional talents continued to inspire both Adam and Randy - and her humor and kindness inspired all of us. We feel blessed to have known her and you, also, Joe. " I'VE HEARD IT SAID
THAT PEOPLE COME INTO OUR LIVES FOR A REASON BRINGING SOMETHING WE MUST LEARN
AND WE ARE LED
TO THOSE WHO HELP US MOST TO GROW.....BECAUSE WE KNEW YOU
WE HAVE BEEN CHANGED FOR GOOD..."

My Dearest Sister Lin,
WOW! What can i say, how can i breath without you here. My heart is breaking, but you are not there to call to let me talk to you. 41 years of memories - good times and more good times - right up to the end. Holding your hand as you took your last breath was something that i NEVER thought i would be doing this past Sunday.
We could always read each others minds, and this past Thursday when we had our last conversation, i asked you how we will communicate when you are on the other side, and you said, we will not have any problem doing that. I wait to hear you in my mind again.
YOU are the BEST sister anyone could ever want - rushing to my house at 2AM when my Ozzie died, picking up the pieces of my heart and putting them back together for me when it was broken, correcting all my spelling and misused words, making Christmas cookies together, flea markets and auctions and the most cherished rush to the stores at 5 AM the day after Thanksgiving to find the free breakfasts and look at all the crazy shoppers. You taught me how to drive a car and i don’t remember, was it me who taught you how to play the guitar? Who will i call on when i need some advice?
You were there to cry with me when one of my chickens died. You were the only one adventurous enough to go on a 2 week camping trip that lasted 6 weeks! And brave enough to go on stage with me, and silly enough to be a clown with me, and entrepreneurial enough to study real estate with me.
You held my hand through all my adventures, and just as i was about ready to take the next step, you let go! How will i do it alone? We were supposed to grow old together – 67 is not old – 97 is old! You owe me 30 more years.
On the 4th of December 2011 at 1:35 PM, i lost part of my heart, my sister, my best friend! May you enjoy your dance with the angels and save a place close to you for me!

Joe and Family,
Please accept our heartfelt condolences for your tragic loss. Linda truly was a remarkable spirit and her light indeed shined upon all of us, despite the great distances of time and space that separated us. She will be missed by all who had the good fortune to know her, but her indomitable spirit will live on in our hearts and minds.
In loving memory,
Armand ("Buddy") & Joyce Della Monica and Family

Dave and I will miss you and your passion for music. You inspired so many people - young and old - with your music. You leave such a legacy behind, from the students who performed in the various school productions to the adults who wanted to hone their musical abilities. We will miss you so much, Lin.

I only knew Lin for about 10 years, but it seemed we clicked from the moment we met. I am so thankful that she and my daughter spent time together, she was such a good role model for Christina. And a good vocal teacher! I'm sure Christina will hear Lin's voice in her head whenever she sings. I'll never forget her first reaction when I suggested she coach 4 teenagers as an a cappella singing group - "it's never going to work. The wrong time in their lives" and then she made it happen! She was a good friend, and I will miss her.

I will miss you so much my sweet. brave friend. Music brought us together when you became Katie's teacher. Your talent, dedication and encouragement made her be not only a better singer but a confident performer. Thank you for being with us through many milestones. While I have no musical talent, I do know when I am in the company of an exceptional human being,it was your gentle and loving nature that made me your faithful friend. You endured mental and physical pain with such bravery in the past months, yet when we spent together you always asked how Katie was doing, or about different members of our family rather than focusing on yourself. What an example of courage you were. Our love and prayers will be with Joe, Michael and the rest of your family and friends that are left behind to honor your memory. Sing with the angels my friend.

Lyn, what a 'gift' you were not only to me but to so many others. You made my Mary Kay Director Debut so special by singing for the event. You are like a beautiful butterfly. Where ever you went you please people and put smiles on their faces. You truly were a very special lady. You will be missed ....

As I was walking along on Monday, I felt a sudden sadness. I felt as if the world had lost something very beaautiful. I knew deep inside that Lin had left us to bring her beauty to another place for all the universe to share. Joe, you and Lin will always hold a special place in my heart. I know my soul has been enriched thorugh knowing both of you.

When I think of Lin I think of starlight that shines so brightly in the sky and lightens a darkened world. Her very presence filled one with a sense of excitement. Lin, you are with the angels, brightening us all now. Shine down upon us, give peace to your beloved Joe. Know we miss you, but tonight, when I see the brightest star shining brilliantly in the evening sky, I know you are close by. We are blessed having had you in our lives and you, indeed, will be missed greatly.
