Obituary of Miriam Champion
Champion, Miriam T. (Cramer) 100, of Port Republic, NJ stepped from this life into her eternal home in heaven with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on December 14, 2017. Miriam was spiritually born again at age 13 when she trusted Christ as her personal Lord and Savior.
She lived in Egg Harbor City, Lower Bank, and Port Republic. Miriam attended Egg Harbor City Schools. She worked fifteen years at Lenox China from where she retired.
Miriam taught Sunday school at the Lower Bank Methodist Church. Later in life she faithfully attended the First Baptist Church of Egg Harbor City and most recently was a member of Mainland Baptist Church.
Miriam is predeceased by her husband Earl. She is survived by her children Judith McCracken (Joe) of Fruitland Park, FL, and Edward (Buddy) Dase (Joyce), of Mullica Twp. She was the oldest of five children. Predeceased were brothers, Frank Cramer of St. Louis, MO, Wilbert Cramer of Lower Bank, NJ and sisters Dorothy Caruso of Hammonton, NJ and Vivian Tayman of Sarasota, FL.
Miriam is survived by numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren as well as many nieces and nephews. Granddaughters Ranee Winterbottom and Christina Lyons, and niece Sarah Camillo were a constant source of blessing in her life during her later years. She was affectionately called “Aunt Mim” by many who knew her.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday morning 10:30AM-11:30AM at Mainland Baptist Church, 512 S Pitney Road, Galloway, NJ 08205. Funeral service 11:30AM. Interment Port Republic St. Paul’s Methodist Church cemetery. Officiating at the services will be Pastor Dean Bult and Pastor Don Middleton.
